Hi I’m Hannah Gilbert
I’m currently a Senior in the Lower Elementary Education Program at Wayne State University. I will be certified to teach grades PreK through 3rd grade. I have wanted to be an Educator ever since I can remember. I’ve always had a passion for learning, teaching, and helping those around me. I believe being an effective educator starts with meeting your students where they are as an individual. I believe contiuning to reflect after every lesson through formative assessments and self-reflection is essential to contiuniously adapt and change lessons and ideas to ensure students are being met where they are. I believe socio-emotional learning is something that is very important to ensure your students are able to self-regulate and be their best self.
